Legal & Compliance
Policies governing the use of Friendly Financial's software and third-party liquidity routing services.
1. Description of Services
Friendly Financial ("Company," "we," "our") provides a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform for private ledger management and financial structuring. Our tools allow users to document capital agreements and track external payments. We charge a standard software licensing fee for platform access.
2. Strictly Non-Custodial Architecture
Friendly Financial is an independent technology provider, not a bank, depository institution, or broker-dealer. We are strictly non-custodial. We do not hold, receive, transfer, or manage user funds. All financial transfers occur directly between the users' respective third-party bank accounts. We rely on read-only API integrations to verify transaction statuses.
3. Third-Party Links & Affiliate Disclosure
To assist users in funding their capital allocations, Friendly Financial provides "Liquidity Routing" tools. These tools may contain outbound links to third-party lenders, banks, or Home Equity Line of Credit (HELOC) providers. Please be advised: Friendly Financial may receive a referral fee, commission, or CPA (Cost Per Acquisition) payout if you click on these links or originate an account with these third parties. This compensation operates independently of your software fee and does not impact the rates provided by the third-party lender.
4. Limitation of Liability
Because Friendly Financial does not control the flow of funds or underwrite debt, we are not liable for defaulted payments, rejected third-party loan applications, or changes in external interest rates.
1. Information We Collect
To operate our software suite and provide financial insights, we collect data including:
- Identity Data: Name and email address for account provisioning.
- Financial Data (Read-Only): Bank account connection tokens via our secure data partners. We utilize this read-only connection to synchronize platform ledgers, monitor transaction flow, and deliver platform services. We do not have the ability or authorization to initiate transfers from your connected accounts.
2. How We Use Your Data
Data is utilized to maintain your active ledgers, perform platform calculations, generate standard reporting, personalize your software experience, and develop new product features to better serve our users.
3. Cookies & Affiliate Tracking
When you navigate to our liquidity modules and click a link to a third-party partner, an affiliate tracking cookie or pixel will be temporarily placed in your browser. This cookie allows the partner bank to attribute the referral to Friendly Financial so we may collect our commission. This tracker does not capture your core financial data stored on our platform.
4. Data Sharing & Protection
We do not sell your personal data to data brokers or advertising networks. Information is only shared with trusted infrastructure partners required to deliver the software, or when legally compelled by regulatory authorities.
